- The Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber has selected a new president. Adam Forrand will be leading the group as its new president and CEO, according to the organization's Wednesday announcement. He is currently serving as a vice president of the Gwinnett Chamber and Partnership Gwinnett. He will begin his new role on Tuesday, Nov. 1. (Appen Media)
- The Sandy Springs City Council has approved a new contract for a trail segment project. JHC Corporation will be constructing the new segment for $7,803,554. The 1.88-mile segment will provide access to the Chattahoochee River. (Subscription: AJC.com)
- According to a new report published by Stacker, the most common language spoken at home other than English in the Sandy Springs area is Spanish.
