  1. Fulton County officials approved a new curfew for teens aged 16 and under for a one-and-a-half square mile area of unincorporated Fulton County land. The new curfew was passed to curb youth gun violence in the county. Under the ordinance, teens younger than 17 will have a curfew from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. the following day, Sunday through Thursday. The curfew for Friday and Saturday remains at midnight. (11Alive.com WXIA)
  2. Due to damage, the Whitewater Creek entrance into the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is currently closed. The road and parking lot at that entrance will remain closed until further notice while the National Park Service determines a repair plan. (Sandy Springs, Georgia: City News via Facebook)
  3. The Sandy Springs City Council fully supported the Sandy Springs Police Department's involvement in a metro Atlanta drug enforcement task force.
