- Have you seen these men? Atlanta police recently released better-quality photos of two men they believe are connected to a northwest Atlanta homicide that occurred on Jan. 27. One of the men is a suspect in the homicide and the other is a person of interest. The fatal shooting took place on Marietta Street. If you can identify either one of the individuals or provide new information to the case, please submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers Atlanta by calling 404-577-TIP (8477). (FOX 5 Atlanta)
- According to the DeKalb County School District, nine vacancies are in the superintendent's office. Officials continue to craft a budget for the 2024 fiscal year among key vacant spots, such as an empty chief financial officer (CFO) position. The CFO plays an important role in crafting any budget for the school and has been vacant since Masana Mailliard left to work for Gwinnett County Public Schools in January. (Decaturish.com)
- The upcoming American superhero film based on DC Comics "Shazam! Fury of the Gods" comes out in theaters on Mar. 17, but Atlanta-area residents have a chance to see it for free.
