Here are the top three stories today in Sandy Springs:
- The City of Sandy Springs has allocated money for two new pumper trucks for the Sandy Springs Fire Department. The new trucks, which will cost $1.84 million, will replace the ones the city bought in 2016 and 2017. The old trucks will be retained and used in reserve. The new trucks will not be delivered until late 2024. (Reporter Newspapers)

The group is recommending the machines be replaced with hand-marked paper ballots.
