New Restaurant To Open In October At City Springs

SANDY SPRINGS, GA -- Another eatery will soon open up shop next month at City Springs. Flower Child, which offers made-from-scratch nutritious menu items, plans to open in October in the heart of downtown Sandy Springs.

This will be Flower Child's second Georgia restaurant, the first of which opened in the summer at Shops Around Lenox. Flower Child guests can expect a menu of starters, salads, plates, wraps and bowls, with favorites including salads like the Chopped Vegetable and Skinny Cobb, and beloved bowls like the Mother Earth, which features a medley of ancient grains, sweet potato, portobello mushrooms, avocado, cucumber, broccoli pesto, charred onion, leafy greens, hemp and red pepper miso vinaigrette.

The 3,500-square-foot location will feature an open atmosphere reminiscent of a "modern bohemian abode," with seating for 78 guests," the company said in its news release. An outdoor patio with around 1,300 square feet will accommodate seating for 82. Design elements such as decorative tile and brightly painted brick, contemporary stone tables and touches of vibrant greenery breathe life into the dining area, making for an energetic destination and welcoming gathering spot.

While no specific opening date has been shared, Flower Child will hold a job fair from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sept. 24-29 and Oct. 1-6 for positions including servers, cashiers, line and prep cooks, dishwashers and expeditors. Interested applicants are encouraged to bring a copy of their resume to the restaurant or apply online.
