  1. A Sandy Springs consultant has identified high-crash locations on North End roadways. The consultant has presented a number of solutions to the Sandy Springs City Council at its Oct. 18 meeting. The city is considering a project to improve pedestrian safety in the North End. (Reporter Newspapers + Atlanta Intown)
  2. An inmate at the Fulton County Jail was found dead on the mental health floor. The inmate was found with both his wrists and ankles bound. Fulton County is waiting for the autopsy results to provide further information about how the death occurred. The Fulton County Sheriff's Office has warned local leaders that deaths could happen as the jail's over- crowdedness persists. (WSBTV)
  3. Mariah Carey's Sandy Springs mansion has had its listing price reduced. The price reduction is due to the luxury housing market in the metro Atlanta area. The number of luxury homes sold in the area has fallen by about 39 percent compared to last year, according to Redfin. (The Business Journals)
