  1. Many residents of Sandy Springs have called for a noise barrier to be constructed along I-285. A local sleep researcher has struggled himself with the large amounts of noise that flows into the neighborhood from the highway. (PAYWALL: The Atlanta Journal Constitution)
  2. Atlanta Public Schools has been approved for a $1.45 billion budget for the 2022-2023 school year. The Atlanta Board of Education voted on the deal which will include spending on pay upgrades for teachers and all other employees of the education system. Millions will also be allotted to academic recovery, operational enhancements, and other sectors of Atlanta's public schools. (WSB Atlanta)
  3. Construction has begun on a luxury apartment complex in nearby Roswell, despite the city's restrictions on developments. The ECI group began demolition on the Holcomb Road site, which will be known as the Averly East Village. (11Alive.com WXIA)
