- K9 Diesel, a retired K9 unit with the Fulton County Sheriff's Office, has passed away. Diesel worked with the department for six years. During his tenure, he became the department's first cell phone detection dog. He retired on Jan. 28, 2022. (Atlanta News First)
- Fulton County Chairman Robb Pitts is concerned about Hurricane Ian impacting the county. County leaders are actively preparing for the tropical storm's local impact. They are in contact with FEMA officials and are monitoring reports that come out of Florida. (WSBTV)
