1. Sandy Springs' Riverwood International Charter School announced its valedictorian and salutatorian for the Class of 2023. Valedictorian Marilyn Abney has a number of accolades under her belt and has given back to the community through tutoring with Sandy Springs Mission – and privately – as well as volunteering at Solidarity Sandy Springs. Salutatorian Maya Leveille, who also has an impressive résumé, created a project which allowed her to use her love of running to raise funds for St. Jude's Cancer Research. (MDJOnline.com)

3. Ever wanted to paint like Bob Ross? Now you can! Join the City of Sandy Springs Recreation and Parks Department for the "Paint Like Bob Ross!" event on Saturday at 10:00 a.m, at Hammond Park Community Building in Atlanta.
