Here are the top stories in Sandy Springs today:

  1. Two men were killed within 1.5 miles of each other in separate shootings on Monday night. Sandy Springs police identified a 26-year-old victim who was shot and killed at 8350 Roswell Road following a domestic dispute. At approximately 10:15 p.m., the department responded to another incident, at 8017 Roswell Road, which left a 21 year old shot and killed. Both cases are believed to have followed domestic disputes. (11 Alive)
  2. Sandy Springs city officials will host a public meeting to gain community insight into the Old Riverside Drive Park Master Plan. The public will meet on June 6 at the Studio Theatre in Sandy Springs City Hall, from 6 to 8 p.m. The city is working to update a previous master plan for the park. (MSN)
  3. The city has begun work to restore the eroding shoreline at Morgan Falls Overlook Park. The work, which includes hauling 240 tons of boulders to the shoreline, will limit access to part of the sidewalk on weekdays. The project is estimated to be completed sometime this summer. (Reporter Newspapers)
