Update: Roads Reopened, Suspicious Package Reveals Magazines

A man left a suspicious package in the Wells Fargo branch on the 4400 block of Roswell Road just outside of Sandy Springs after 11 a.m.

 

Roswell Road and Winsdor Parkway have been reopened following a police investigation of a suspicious package.

The package turned out to be a box of magazines, said Sandy Springs Police Capt. Steve Rose.

Police closed roads in the area just before noon on Wednesday while authorities investigate a suspicious package left inside a nearby bank at 4454 Roswell Road.

Earlier, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that "a man left an unmarked box inside the Wells Fargo branch in the 4400 block of Roswell Road near West Wieuca Road just after 11 a.m."
