Here are the top three stories in Sandy Springs today:
- The Sandy Springs Famers Market is offering fresh produce every Saturday in front of Sandy Springs City Hall. The market runs through Nov. 12 between 8:30 a.m. and noon. The market has been operating since 2010. The market is celebrated into food sections and artisan vendors sections. (Appen Media)
- The state has rested its case against attorney Bryan Schmitt. He is accused of killing Hamid Jahangard in Sandy Springs during an apparent road rage incident. On Wednesday, the former chief medical examiner testified with disturbing photos of Janhangard’s body. (WSBTV)
- Sandy Springs mayor Rusty Paul will be joining five other north Fulton County mayors for a town hall meeting about Local Option Sales Tax revenue. The mayors will be meeting at Roswell City Hall on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Mayor Paul is part of the city’s negotiating team for the LOST negotiations. (AJC.com)
