- Sandy Springs residents have come together to plan the city's first Juneteenth celebration. The event will begin on Sunday, June 19 at City Springs, and will feature performances by the Namari Dance Center, Djoli Kelen Inc., Southside Soul, and more. Local community leaders and residents wanted to embrace this opportunity to recognize and celebrate growing diversity in Sandy Springs and Fulton County. (Reporter Newspapers)
- Testimony resumed on Tuesday in District Attorney Fani Willis's elections investigation. The special purpose grand jury has focused on former President Donald Trump and his closest allies but had been delayed for a week. The jury is expected to hear from a wide cast of witnesses related to the case. (The Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
- The City of Sandy Springs partnered with Catalyst Sports to launch an adaptive kayaking program in time for summer. The inclusive program will allow people with disabilities with a unique opportunity to enjoy spending time on the Chattahoochee River. The sessions will be held at Morgan Falls Overlook Park.
