- Sandy Springs' Mason Blanton King has been arrested for driving under the influence. He was arrested by the Metro Nashville Police Department on Sunday morning after King drove his vehicle over the grass portion at an intersection. He had an open case of Bud Light in the passenger side of his vehicle and admitted recently leaving a "party down the street." His bond has been set at $3,000. (Scoop Nashville)
- Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens reports that Atlanta will be receiving $400 million over the next decade due to a new agreement with Fulton County. The Local Option Sales Tax agreement determines how the tax revenue will be distributed between the county and its municipalities. The tax revenue is meant to offset property taxes. The agreement is rewritten every ten years. (Subscription: AJC.com)
- The U.S. Marshalls Service confirmed that a man wanted for shooting Henry County detention officers has been arrested. The Georgia State Patrol had issued a statewide Blue Alert for Brentson Bernard Thomas, who had been on the run for over a week. He was believed to be in the Fulton County area and was eventually arrested at a Macon motel. (11 Alive)
