- Sandy Springs officials recently reported a 95 percent positive response rate for its Customer Service Survey that it released in the fall of 2022. To continue to improve the city's customer service and citizen engagement, city officials have also outlined plans for how to improve its communications, such as revamping the city's website to provide more engaging news and newsletters. - The Cobb County Fire Department announced that it lost one of its firefighters on Tuesday. The department reported that Firefighter Julian Daniels died on Feb. 28, his 18th anniversary of joining the department. Details regarding his death have not been released at this time. (WSB Atlanta)
- Police announced that they have arrested a suspect involved in the death of a man at a Sandy Springs hotel in 2022. Roswell local Jacob Cain Anglin, 23, is accused of claiming fentanyl-laced drugs were Xanax pills and selling them to victim James Travis Edenfield. Edenfield was later found dead at a hotel in Sandy Springs by police in October. (11Alive)
