Here are the top three stories in Sandy Springs today:

1. Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat is considering renaming one of his agency's units in light of the death of Tyre Nichols at the hands of five former Memphis police officers. The former officers were part of a unit called the Scorpion Unit, which shares the same name as one of Fulton County's units. (Subscription: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution)
2. Atlanta-based Charcuterie Chick is planning to open a Sandy Springs location in the next few months. The new location will house a commercial kitchen space and a storefront for grab n' go and lunch items. The company also plans to host build-a-board classes at the new location. (What Now Atlanta)
3. Sandy Springs Mayor Russell Paul and the Sandy Springs City Council recently held their annual retreat.
