  1. An active structure fire broke out in Sandy Springs on Tuesday evening. The fire at 610 Windsor Pkwy shut down the road between High Point Road and Windsor Court. At the time, Sandy Springs Police asked the community to avoid the area. (Sandy Springs Police via Facebook)
  2. All lanes were closed on I-75 North on Wednesday afternoon after a multi-vehicle crash occurred. The crash, which took place around exit 256 around 3:00 p.m., caused all lanes to close for about 50 minutes. Police said multiple injuries were reported. (WSB Atlanta)
  3. Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens was a guest speaker at a chamber event at Sandy Springs City Hall on Tuesday. After working with Sandy Springs Mayor on the local option sales tax negotiations in Fulton County, Mayor Dickens said he feels connected to the business leaders and residents in the city. Mayor Dickens said, "I stand before you as somebody who feels united, feels comfortable being a part of you and you being a part of us; and us growing and thriving together as a region."
