1. A resident of neighboring East Cobb was named the new executive director of the Georgia Symphony Orchestra. Suzanne Tucker has experience as a public school teacher and 18 years of leadership experience with church music. She will officially be in her new role on Jan. 9, 2023. (East Cobb News)
2. Police responded to the report of an attack at a home in nearby Marietta that left one of the homeowners injured. The owners of the house responded to a knock at the front door by a stranger who allegedly tried to gain entry into their house before vandalizing it. The suspect, Harjit Singh, 32, of New Jersey, is currently in police custody. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
3. The owner of Sandy Springs Boutique Winery shared his knowledge of wine during a recent wine tasting. Joe Keenan started his winery business in 2014 after purchasing Beer & Wine Craft in 2012.
