- A resident of neighboring East Cobb was named the new executive director of the Georgia Symphony Orchestra. Suzanne Tucker has experience as a public school teacher and 18 years of leadership experience with church music. She will officially be in her new role on Jan. 9, 2023. (East Cobb News)
- Police responded to the report of an attack at a home in nearby Marietta that left one of the homeowners injured. The owners of the house responded to a knock at the front door by a stranger who allegedly tried to gain entry into their house before vandalizing it. The suspect, Harjit Singh, 32, of New Jersey, is currently in police custody. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
- The owner of Sandy Springs Boutique Winery shared his knowledge of wine during a recent wine tasting. Joe Keenan started his winery business in 2014 after purchasing Beer & Wine Craft in 2012.
