Man Swallows Rosary, Attacks Attendant On GA Flight To FL
A man who "hurts evil" reportedly told his sister "to close her eyes and pray because Satan's disciple(s) had followed them onto the plane."
SAVANNAH, GA — A 31-year-old male passenger is facing federal charges after being accused of kicking a flight attendant during an American Airlines flight from Savannah to Miami, per media reports.
The complaint, signed by the FBI, was filed against Delange Augustin and sister Medjina Augustinon Tuesday in federal court, the Savannah Morning News reported.
Delange Augustin was accused of kicking the flight attendant across an aisle and onto the opposite side of the plane, NBC News reported. The attendant had been attempting to check on Delange Augustin after noticing he may have endured "a fit of epilepsy," NBC reported.

Additionally, Delange Augustin told his sister “to close her eyes and pray because Satan’s disciple(s) had followed them onto the plane and the legion did not want the Augustins to make it to Haiti,” SMN reported, citing the complaint.
The plane returned to Savannah Hilton Head Airport, never making it to Miami, and Delange Augustin unwinded, NBC reported.

Medjina Augustin said her brother's behavior was not shocking because "he hurts evil," NBC reported.
Delange Augustin was charged on suspicion of misdemeanor battery, misdemeanor obstruction of police and a felony count of criminal property damage, NBC reported.
He was being held in the Chatham County Detention Center, Savannah Morning News reported.
American Airlines sent an NBC a statement that said "'safety and security are our top priorities' and that they 'appreciate the professionalism of the entire crew and thank our passengers for their understanding.'"
