One business out of 11 failed Cobb's most recent "Under 21" compliance check.

SMYRNA, GA -- Police in Cobb County recently ran "Under 21 Compliance Check" regarding several businesses that serve alcohol in the area, authorities told Patch. The operations took place on Tuesday, June 27, and found that one package store in Austell was out of compliance, according to Cobb police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce.
The checks involve seeing if the establishments will sell alcohol to people under the age of 21. (To get notified of more local news like this, click here to sign up for the Smyrna Patch. Or find your Atlanta-area town here. Or, if you have an iPhone, download the free Patch app.)
