Cobb Business Fails 'Under 21' Compliance Check

SMYRNA, GA -- Police in Cobb County recently ran "Under 21 Compliance Check" regarding several businesses that serve alcohol in the area, authorities told Patch. The operations took place on Tuesday, June 27, and found that one package store in Austell was out of compliance, according to Cobb police spokesman Sgt. Dana Pierce.

The only location that failed its compliance check and sold to the underage volunteer was:

Cobb police run compliance checks periodically to ensure that underage residents are not being sold alcohol.
