3 Cobb Businesses Fail 'Under 21' Compliance Check
Three businesses out of 13 failed Cobb's most recent "Under 21" compliance check.
SMYRNA, GA -- Police in Cobb County recently ran "Under 21 Compliance Check" regarding several businesses that serve alcohol in the area, authorities told Patch. The operations took place on July 27, and found that three businesses -- all of them package or convenience stores -- were out of compliance, according to Cobb police spokeswoman Alicia Chilton.
The checks involve seeing if the establishments will sell alcohol to people under the age of 21. (To get notified of more local news like this, click here to sign up for the Smyrna Patch. Or find your Atlanta-area town here. Or, if you have an iPhone, download the free Patch app.)
