Carvel Ice Cream Closes

Smyrna’s has closed its doors. A representative from Carvel’s Atlanta headquarters confirmed that the franchisee closed the South Cobb Drive business earlier this month.

An employee from the in the same shopping center said he’d seen people removing furniture and equipment from the building last week.

Carvel’s media representative said the business opened in 2004, but could not comment as to why it closed.
