Commissioner Hosts Smyrna-Area Town Hall Thursday

Smyrna-area residents who want to hear important county news straight from the source or talk with their elected officials one-on-one are invited to attend a joint town hall session at Russell Elementary School on Thursday night.

Cobb County Commissioner Time Lee and District 4 Councilwoman Lisa Cupid will be at the school from 6:30 to 8 p.m. to hear from their constituents and to talk about current affairs in the county. Cobb County staff will also be on hand to help any residents with specific or specialized issues.

“Town hall meetings are wonderful opportunities to communicate openly with your elected officials and share your ideas and input with county staff,” the county wrote in its most recent e-mail newsletter. “They are also great chances to learn firsthand about progress being made around your community.”
