House Under Renovation Catches Fire, Cause Still Unknown
A house that was being renovated near Paces Mill Road was damaged by a fire Tuesday. A firefighter burned his hand battling the blaze.
VININGS, GA — A house fire undergoing renovations was damaged by a fire Tuesday afternoon, the Cobb County Fire Department said.
The house, located at 3370 Stillhouse Road in Vinings, has significant fire damage with structural collapse, according to the fire department. The fire was called in around 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Marietta Daily Journal reported.
No residents were in the house at the time of the fire, and no contractors or workers were injured. A firefighter did sustain a hand burn, however.

The fire was under control within an hour of arriving, and the cause is still under investigation.
