No Sign of Car Rented in March

A Smyrna woman faces a charge of theft by conversion.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Smyrna woman who rented a $20,000 vehicle more than three months ago and never returned it.

Demetria Ashley Robinson allegedly rented a 2013 Kia Optima from the Budget Rental Car facility at 1092 Roswell Rd., according to the warrant, which was issued on June 3.

Budget has not seen the car since Robinson picked it up about 1:45 p.m. March 7, records show.

Robinson faces a charge of theft by conversion, which is a felony offense.
