In 1872, Smyrna officially became a city with a population of less than 300. The city now boasts a population over 56,000 and recently celebrated its 150th anniversary with a free downtown concert and Culture & Spirit Festival that attracted 40,000 partygoers.

Smyrna is also commemorating their sesquicentennial with the publication of a coffee table scrapbook of pictures and memories of the last 25 years. The 160-page book features approximately 500 color and black & white photos, a full color dust jacket, full color end papers, and a foil-embossed city seal on the cover.

The book includes photos of people, places, events and businesses from the last few decades with lots of photos of Smyrna of today. The book is perfect for history and genealogy lovers. It is also a great addition to any home library or office reception room.
