Smyrna Restaurant Owner Sells Mustang To Help Employees
A Smyrna restaurant owner sold her mustang, so she wouldn't have to layoff employees.
SMYRNA, GA — A Smyrna restaurant owner has demonstrated just how important her work family is to her. The owner of Vittles Restaurant wanted to pay her employees last month so sold her red Mustang GT 5.0 to help them.
Charity Salyers told WAGA-TV that due to the coronavirus pandemic she had to cut a staff of 10-12 down to two a day. Not wanting to lay off anyone, she said she decided to sell the car.
Karma came back. Savannah Volkswagen heard her story and gifted her with a 2017 Toyota RAV4.
