South Cobb High Student Named Alexander Hamilton Scholar: ICYMI
South Cobb High School rising senior Zainab Molumo has been named a national Alexander Hamilton Scholar.

SOUTH COBB -- A South Cobb High School rising senior was recently named a national Alexander Hamilton Scholar, Patch has learned. Zainab Molumo earned the scholarship through her commitment to outstanding community and academic excellence.
Zainab is one of 33 high school juniors selected this year to display the scholarship's Hamiltonian principles of character and leadership through service, according to a Cobb School District news release. Zainab is the daughter of Nigerian immigrants who came to the United States in 2003. She is very active at South Cobb, including being enrolled in school's Academy of Research and Medical Sciences and serving as a two-time president of Ladies of Unity, a female leadership organization.

She is also a member of the National Honor Society, the Beta Club, National Society of High School Scholars, Muslim Student Awareness Club and Health Occupations Students of America.
As part of the program, Zainab will complete a rigorous five-year curriculum to give her practical tools for college and the real world.

Zainab said that she wants to join the medical profession some day, becoming a dermatologist or OB/GYN.
