  1. A fire broke out at Spring Street Baptist Church in Smyrna on Tuesday morning, starting in a trailer on the church's property. The fire department responded to the blaze, and no injuries have been reported so far. (11 Alive)
  2. Cobb County has the second-highest number of registered sex offenders in the state. The county sheriff's office has partnered with OffenderWatch to provide an app that shows registered sex offenders' locations across the county. The app has new features that send notifications to parents if their child is near a sex offender's home and enables families to add names of individuals with whom they do not want their child to have contact.
