2 Arrested In DeKalb Drug Bust
Ecstasy, cocaine and fentanyl were among a series of drugs seized recently in DeKalb County.

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA — Two people were arrested, and a host of drugs were seized, during the recent raid of three houses in DeKalb County, police said Thursday.
Police said officers spent nine hours executing search warrants Wednesday at houses in the 1700 block of Mountain Industrial Boulevard, in the 400 block of Chartley Trail and in the 1700 block of Stoney Creek.
During the raid, police said they found ecstasy, cocaine, fentanyl, methamphetamine, marijuana, two rifles, three handguns and thousands of dollars in cash.

Ultimately, police said they arrested 42-year-old Alexis Terrell and 32-year-old Matthew Diggs.
DeKalb County Jail records showed Terrell was arrested on charges of possession of a drug-related object, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in ecstasy and trafficking in illegal drugs fentanyl.

Diggs was arrested on charges of trafficking in marijuana, trafficking in cocaine, trafficking in illegal drugs, trafficking in ecstasy and possession of drug-related objects, jail records showed.
"Investigators with the narcotics and gang units used diligent police work to help get these guns, drugs and suspects off the streets. The arrests send a message to those who would endanger the lives of others for the sake of profit, that DeKalb County deserves better, and DKPD will continue to put criminals out of business so that the community can live better, safer lives," police said in a news release.
