Man Dead After Domestic Dispute Leads To Stone Mountain Shooting
A suspect was detained after a domestic dispute escalated to a shooting that killed a man Monday.
STONE MOUNTAIN, GA — A man was shot to death in a domestic dispute Monday in Stone Mountain, Gwinnett County Police said.
The shooting occurred around 7:45 a.m. in the Salem Drive area, police said.
When officers arrived, they found the man dead from at least one gunshot wound, police said. The shooting derived from a domestic dispute between two people known to each other, police said.

The man who died was not identified. Police said a suspect was detained for questioning. A motive in the shooting was not revealed.
