Public's Help Needed In ID'ing Lithonia Shooting Suspect: Police
Police say a male left his home with a gunshot wound, dying outside, after a suspect entered his home with an assault rifle.

LITHONIA, GA — DeKalb County Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a suspect in the fatal shooting of a male at his Rock Springs home.
Police said the fatal shooting happened around 7:15 p.m., May 16, in the 5400 block of Rock Springs.
The suspect entered the home with an assault rifle, and sometime later, he and another suspect left the house several times to load property into a silver SUV, police said.

They then left the the home, and after a few minutes, the male who lived at the home went outside with a gunshot wound, police said. He then collapsed and died at the scene, police said.
Police did not identify the victim or release his age.

On Tuesday, police shared an image of one of the suspects that they say was taken about an hour before the deadly shooting.
