Accused Shooter Charged With Murder In DeKalb Woman's Death
The shooting happened during a dispute between a woman and a man who was previously involved in a relationship, DeKalb Police say.
STONE MOUNTAIN, GA — Police say a woman was fatally shot Tuesday morning following a dispute with a man with whom she was previously involved in a relationship.
DeKalb County Police said the deadly shooting happened around 12:15 a.m. in the 4500 block of Rowland Court.
The accused gunman, who police identified as 41-year-old Brian Bacon, was suspected of shooting the woman during an argument. Police named Bacon as the 911 caller.

The woman, who was in her early 30s, was not identified. She died of her injuries at the hospital, police said.
Bacon was arrested on charges of felony murder and aggravated assault, police said. He was taken to the DeKalb County Jail, police said.
