Find a Furry Valentine at DeKalb County Animal Services
Find details for the adoption special here.
While you could spend $14 on one of the red or pink stuffed animals lining store shelves during February, the money could also be spent on bringing home a real furry friend from DeKalb County Animal Services.
LifeLine Animal Project, the nonprofit that manages DeKalb County Animal Services, is offering a “My Furry Valentine” adoption special throughout February. All dogs and cats six months and older can be adopted for $14. Adopted pets will be spayed or neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm or combo tested and dewormed.
“Dogs and cats provide unconditional love which has been shown to have positive effects on their owner’s health,” said Susan Feingold, director of DeKalb County Animal Services. “And when you adopt a shelter pet, you’re saving a life, so both human and animal reap the benefits.”
