• DeKalb County unveils $2 million real-time crime center in Tucker (roughdraftatlanta.com) — A new $2 million Real Time Crime Center has opened in Tucker, bringing countywide camera, drone, and license-plate reader monitoring much closer to local neighborhoods. DeKalb officials say the hub will speed 911 response, expand surveillance tools, and add hundreds of cameras, including many planned in Tucker. Leaders frame the project as part of a broader technology push to improve public safety.
