• (Sub)urban Smackdown 2025 tourney: Championship voting starts now! (urbanize.city) — Tucker is facing off against Atlanta’s Grant Park in the final round of a lighthearted “(Sub)urban Smackdown” popularity tournament for metro Atlanta communities, with voting open through Tuesday afternoon. Residents are invited to cast a ballot for whichever place they feel is “best right now,” giving Tucker locals a chance to boost their city in this regional showdown.
   

• 🥁 The monks go marching (roughdraftatlanta.com) — Tucker heads into its 10th year of cityhood with incoming Mayor Anne Lerner outlining priorities on transparency, development, crime, and traffic as major projects like the Top End 285 Express move forward. A Buddhist Walk for Peace recently passed through Tucker, and the community is mourning longtime judge and advocate Stanley Baum while debating issues like a new pickleball complex and Northlake Mall’s future.
