Tucker Boy Participating in National Spelling Bee

Nicholas A Poulos, 13, of Tucker, is participating in the Scripps National Spelling Bee, taking place today and tomorrow (Thursday,May 30).

Poulos who attends Wesleyan School in Peachtree Corners, is speller number 49, according to the spelling bee's website.

Poulos won the state spelling bee back earlier this year.

Georgia Association of Educators in Tucker is sponsoring Poulos.

Poulos' interests include soccer and theater, information about him states. In addition to the Scripps spelling bee, he's participating in the Georgia State Geographic Bee, the National History Bee, and the National Science Bowl.
