School Board Member Accused Of Impersonating Wife's Ex-Husband On Tinder: Reports
The embattled board member is facing pressure to step down but denies the allegations, reports said.

MOLINE, IL — A school board member in the Quad Cities area is facing pressure to resign after he was accused of impersonating his wife’s ex-husband on Tinder, according to reports.
The ex-husband, Matt Harris, brought the allegations to light March 31 in a YouTube video, according to WQAD. Harris accused Moline-Coal Valley School District board member Jason Farrell of committing infidelity on the app, KWQC reported.
The board voted 6-0 to censure Farrell and asked the regional superintendent to remove Farrell from his post, according to KWQC, which reported Farrell did not attend the meeting Monday because of an emergency protective order filed by Harris.

“I have not been charged with any crimes, but instead tried solely through social media,” Farrell told WQAD in a prepared statement. “My wife and I, with the advice of legal counsel, will explore all of the options we have to respond accordingly to such heinous accusations.”
Farrell said the allegations are untrue and that he will not step down, according to KWQC.
