Gas Line Exposure In Aurora Prompts Road Closure: Aurora Police

AURORA, IL — A gas line became exposed Wednesday afternoon near Metea Valley High School, Aurora police said.

The problem occurred near the intersection of North Eola Road and South Mustang Way. Police were on the scene as of about 1 p.m.

While emergency crews work to resolve the problem, the northbound lanes of Eola Road will be closed from Mustang Lane. Drivers should seek alternate routes in the meantime, officials said.
