Trick Or Treat, Mother Nature: 2021 Halloween Forecast For Aurora

AURORA, IL — Before the town's cutest witches and goblins take to Aurora streets in search of Halloween's sweetest bounty, it's a good idea for parents to check out what Mother Nature has in store for our community's annual trick-or-treating festivities.

Trick-or-treating in Aurora is planned from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. Considering the event is just days away, there’s a good chance we might luck out when it comes to the weather.

As you head out on Sunday evening, expect a high of 52, a low of 35 and a 12 percent chance of rain.

Children will have another opportunity to collect candy at the second-annual trick-or-treat drive-thru event from noon to 3 p.m. on Halloween. Although registration for the event is filled, there's a waitlist open for those looking to snag a spot for the event at Phillips Park.

If you want a bit more reassurance on the trick-or-treating forecast, the National Weather Service forecast calls for much of the same. Sunday is expected to be sunny with a high near 56, while Sunday night will be partly cloudy with a low around 37.
