Geneva Chamber of Commerce to Organize City-Wide Garage Sale

The Geneva Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a city-wide garage sale in Geneva from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., April 24 and 25.

Coined the Geneva City-Wide Garage Sale, the city wants you to clean out your Attics, Basements and Closets.

Participants in the weekend event will have their address and key items listed on a map to be distributed to key locations in town and posted on the city’s Web site. Participants will also receive a garage sale sign to post near their home.

The Geneva Chamber of Commerce will do all the advertising, marketing, printing and distributing of material; including receiving special permission from the City of Geneva to post garage sale signs at key locations in Geneva.

Participants keep all the profits. It is $25 if you register by April 9, after April 9 the cost to register is $30.

You can register online to participate. Or, if you would like to pay by cash or check you can print the form and mail it with payment to Geneva Chamber of Commerce, 8 S. Third St., Geneva, IL 60134. Register by April 9 to ensure your sale is on the printed and online map.
