The animal abuse, witnessed by neighbors, unfolded in the 10600 block of South Sacramento Avenue, when officers from the Morgan Park (22nd District) found the coyote dead on private property.
One of the neighbors, Dave Kielbasa, told Block Club Chicago, that a black pickup truck that has been a problem this summer, went speeding down their one-way street earlier in the day. When the pickup returned about 45 minutes later, the driver got out and talked to three other people on the other side of the fence on Ridge Country Club property.

“That’s when I see them jumping and stomping and kicking,” Kielbasa said. “Then I realize it’s a coyote they are doing it to.”
The four teens were ordered to appear in court Feb. 26.
