Cosme Park Advisory Council Hosts Family Fun Fest This Saturday
Families and neighbors are invited to a fundraiser Aug. 20 for the future support of Cosme Park, featuring games, raffles and sports.
CHICAGO — Pack a picnic and enjoy Family Fun Fest, Saturday, Aug. 20. The fest runs from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cosme Park, 9201 S. Longwood Ave.
The event is being put on the Cosme Park Advisory Council to raise funds to support the future development of the park. There is a suggested donation of $20.
Families and neighbors are invited to enjoy an evening of face painting, silent auction and raffles, outdoor games and sports for all ages. The fest is being co-sponsored by the 19th Ward Youth Foundation, Beverly Improvement Association, Chicago Parks Foundation and the Chicago Park District.
