Fifty slots are available for the Illinois SOS Mobile DMV Friday, Feb. 21, for new/renewal drivers licenses, state IDs and Real IDs and more

CHICAGO - Sen. Bill Cunningham (18th District) and Rep. Mary Gill are hosting a Mobile DMV event Friday, Feb. 21. The Mobile DMV will be on site from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Crosswinds Church, 10835 S. Pulaski Road, Chicago.

“This is a convenient way for members of the community to utilize DMV services at a facility near them,” said Cunningham, whose 18th District spans portions of Chicago and the Southwest suburbs. “I encourage folks who haven’t had the chance to visit their local facility to take advantage of this service.”

Representatives of the Illinois Secretary of State's office will be on hand to assist with renewing or correcting driver's licenses and state IDs. State staff will also convert existing standard driver’s licenses into REAL ID driver’s licenses, obtaining renewed or first-time REAL state IDs and purchasing license plate stickers. Additionally, seniors age 65 or older can obtain a free state ID.
