New Beverly Senior Care Center Boasts 'Living Room Feel'
A new senior care facility recently opened in a former Borders bookstore.

A shuttered Beverly Borders bookstore is now home to a senior care facility that offers a different approach to traditional primary care.
Advocate Medical Group has opened AdvocateCare Center at 2210 W. 95th St., according to the Beverly Review. The facility serves as a treatment center for patients who are 65 years old or older and addresses "multiple medical conditions." Medicare Advantage insurance is accepted.
The center includes 10 patient rooms, six of which are exam rooms and the other four, consultation spaces.

"Two consultation rooms have a 'living room' feel ... and include chairs and a small table, while the other two have a 'kitchen table' theme, to provide room for family," the Beverly Review said.
The clinic's lead physician, Tiffany Groen, said patients are encouraged to bring their family members and caregivers with them.

" ... We designed it to have the space where we could have multiple people in on a group conversation," she said, in the article. "So it’s not just one-on-one with a physician and a patient—it’s more of a team approach.”
Advocate Medical Group also operates Oak Lawn's Advocate Christ Medical Center and another clinic in Beverly.
