Chicago police are asking Beverly residents to check their security video after a woman was carjacked of her Rolls-Royce in her driveway.

CHICAGO — A Rolls-Royce was carjacked at gunpoint from a resident in her own driveway late Thursday afternoon in the Beverly neighborhood. Chicago police are asking neighbors to check doorbell/security video footage.
Around 5:30 p.m. two people took a white Rolls-Royce at gunpoint after the resident pulled into her driveway. The resident complied and was unharmed, police said.
Law enforcement officials believe the vehicle owner may have been targeted because of the high-end vehicle. Chicago police recovered the stolen vehicle Friday morning in the South Shore neighborhood.
