Shakespeare Comes to Ridge Park This Week

There are lots of things you can do in a park, but only once a year does that list feature Shakespeare

This week the Chicago Shakespeare Theater is coming to Ridge Park in Beverly to put on a free production of The Comedy of Errors. 

The 75-munte play will be performed on Wednesday, Aug. 21 and Thursday, Aug. 22.  Both performances are set to take place at 6:30 p.m. in rain or shine. You can bring your lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy a night of entertainment under the stars. 

Ridge Park is located at 1817 W. 96th Street and the production is family friendly. 

More Things to Know This Week 

• Concert at Standard Bank Stadium - The Crestwood baseball park will be hosting two concerts this week featuring tribute acts. On Friday night, come out to watch  TributoSaurus becomes "The Who" and on Saturday American English will perform the classic hits of The Beatles.  Find more information about times and tickets on our events calendar.
