DG Commissioner David Olsen Appointed to College of DuPage Board
Olsen is set to be sworn in Feb. 18 at the next College of DuPage Board of Trustees meeting.

The chairman of the Illinois Community College Board appointed David Olsen, a Downers Grove village commissioner, to fill an open spot on the College of DuPage Board of Trustees.
Olsen, 27, will take over the vacancy left by former board member Kathy Hamilton, who resigned Dec. 13, 2015, according to the College of DuPage, and he is expected to serve until April 2017.
Olsen is set to be sworn in Feb. 18 at the next board of trustees meeting.

“We are pleased to have a seventh Trustee identified, and we welcome Mr. Olsen to the College,” said Acting Interim President Joe Collins in a statement. “I believe he will be an excellent addition to our board. His background as student body president at the University of Illinois demonstrates a strong commitment to students. The College’s most important focus – now and always – is the success of our students.”
Olsen is an ethics and compliance analyst for BP Corporation North America, Inc.
