Woodridge Police Reports: Graffiti, Burglary, Trespass

The Woodridge Police Department reported crimes and arrests through Feb. 12

Woodridge, IL - A criminal defacement of property was reported Feb. 5 in the 2500 block of Spring Street. Someone painted graffiti on an entry door to an apartment building and also on a picnic table in the new park area.

A residential burglary occurred sometime between 6 p.m. and 10:27 p.m. Feb. 6 in the 6400 block of Double Eagle Drive. Someone entered an apartment and took miscellaneous items, including laptops and jewelry.

A criminal defacement of property was reported Feb. 8 in the 7000 block of Woodridge Drive. Someone pained graffiti in the tunnel leading under Woodridge Drive, from Lake Harriet to Lake Carleton.

A criminal trespass to residence occurred Feb. 8 in the 2900 block of Edgewood Parkway. Someone used a landscape stone to break the second story back door of a residence. Entry into the residence was made.

A burglary from motor vehicle occurred sometime overnight Feb. 9 in the 2000 block of Country Club Drive. Someone entered an unlocked car and removed a purse containing credit cards.
