GENEVA, IL —A Geneva man faces multiple felonies, including attempted murder, in an attack on a male relative, police said. Bobby J. Haven III, 26, of the 1000 block of Westfield Course, was arrested days after Geneva police were called to a report of a domestic disturbance just before 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police found Haven holding an unconscious man from behind while seated in a reclining chair. The man was taken to Northwestern Delnor Hospital, where he remains in critical condition, police said.

Interviews initially led police to believe the man suffered from an unknown medical issue. But Haven went to the Geneva Police Department around 7:40 am. Saturday, and admitted he was involved in a physical altercation with a relative, police said.
